Stars Down 2-0 to Detroit Posted on May 15th
With Johan Franzen scratched due to concussion-like symptoms, Detroit looked elsewhere to make up for the scoring they were missing and they got it from an unlikely source in Darren Helm. The rookie picked up his first NHL goal in the first period with a beautiful shot to the far, top-corner. To this point, his speed made me sit up and take notice but after that shot, one can only hope it’s a sign of more to come.
